Rob Wodarczyk is the Director of Compliance at Agile Consulting Group. Rob began working at Agile in 2012 as an intern and continued as a sales tax consultant after graduating from Emory University in 2013 with a B.A. in Economics. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. In early 2019, Rob was promoted to Director of Compliance as a result of his superb performance and emerging client needs initiated by the outcome of the 2018 South Dakota v. Wayfair U.S. Supreme Court case in 2018. In SD v. Wayfair, the court ruled that states could establish “economic nexus” thresholds for businesses without a physical presence in a state. This law has created new sales tax responsibilities for companies that have met or exceeded the established “economic thresholds” in each state. Over the past few years, Rob has worked extensively with helping clients become and remain compliant with sales and use tax reporting obligations at both state and local level jurisdictions. On the weekends, Rob enjoys his time out on the golf course or rooting on his Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles.
